N.A.T.E addresses housing instability through a comprehensive, three‑tiered approach designed to meet immediate needs while driving lasting change. Through Direct Tenant Support, N.A.T.E provides hands‑on advocacy for tenants facing eviction, unsafe living conditions, or retaliation, along with navigation assistance for Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) participants and emergency intervention to connect individuals to critical resources. 

Education and Community Outreach efforts empower residents through tenant rights workshops, community meetings, and resource distribution, while public awareness campaigns elevate understanding of housing issues and available protections. 

At the systems level, Systems Change and Policy Advocacy focuses on advancing housing protections and anti‑discrimination laws, collecting community‑driven data to highlight inequities, and building partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders. Together, these strategies work to stabilize housing, strengthen tenant voices, and create more equitable housing systems.
